In Islamic tradition ,the Jinn is a being created from a smokeless fire. It has the ability to possess a host and carry out its intentions utilizing the weaker vessel to physically carry out actions that itself is incapable of in its intangible state. The Jinn is prone to invading a host for possession in extreme times of elation or sadness, which is why possession is often cloaked in jargon or misdiagnosis of mental health. Though mental health is where possession is most apparent from a perspective of interpretation , the means for removal is not supported by traditional western science or medicine, often leaving the victim in a much worsened state to side effects of ineffective medications.
