This is the first single from the "Civilized Beast" album, from Kareem Idris and Hank McCoy. After working together on Idris', "For You" from The Year in Color: Presented to the Drum" album. Idris wanted to further cultivate the unique lively sound created by the two Philly Natives (K.Idris & H.McCoy) , and further expand their music in the form of an EP. A fresh perspective and exhibition of Philadelphia's legendary lyricism and production , "Civilized Beast" is a thought provoking soundscape of art that conveys a myriad of emotions and intentionally outlines Hip Hop music with a purpose, not only to educate and entertain, but to further establish Idris as a supreme lyricist and McCoy as a scientist of sound .Upbeat and reflective, this piece of art of an album has something relate-able for all listeners."
